Ok,

I've worked out how to update this web diary thingymujig, so here goes.

Plan at the moment: Sail from Lagos perhaps the 16th october, 450 miles to the Madeira archipelago. Thence to the Canaries via the Selvagem islands (300M more), to make the Atlantic preparations to leave for the deep water on November 25th.

Also, I'm be a qualified Yachtmaster by the 11th Oct, fingers crossed..

ps, here's a wee pic of me at the helm in scotland last summer..
