We're in Madeira! and it's been raining at
last...Sitting at a cafe in the corner of a big square having been up to the
botanic gardens and got permits to visit the Ilhas Desertas and Ilhas Selvagems
in the next few days.
Berthed in Quinta do Lorde marina in the east and
have rented a car for two days - photos to follow! Had a lovely sail from Porto
Santo to here, more BIG dolphins, got some film of them.
Life on board good, beer, olives and gherkins in
the cockpit last night, as usual of course, followed by a couple of episodes of
'Peep Show' (it's a tv program, not a nautical/binocular game)
'banterous stories' to follow from Foshy, I'm sure,
but don't believe a word of it..
