on the marina wireless (at cost) and have rigged up
a temporary mains extension into boat for the first time (free!), so charging,
computer all easy. All set for YM exam tomorrow - got charts and Reeds almanac
from Rob and Julia at RuSailing and met Pascal, who's crewing for me for the
day.
also been shopping... got a big new 110Ah ship's
battery at extortionate cost and various assorted odd bits that need
replacing/repairing, plus the bits to make up the shore power lead. bargain of
the day: sheet of good plywood for making my new cupboard over the next few
days
Getting Skype sussed - a bit disjointed
but Freeee... find me on Skype as henrydadams {CHANGE TO AT} gmail {DOT} com - I'll be
able get on it in marinas and cafes and the such like.
Weather looks good here for the next few days, so
hopefully should get all the work done on Ariel I need to before we head for
Madeira next week
