Well, from Falmouth harbour, Antigua, (which incidentally has the stinkiest mud I've anchored in in four years - I worked out later that the all-pervasive rotten seafood smell was coming from the anchor chain..) I set off early in the morning to my next official port of call at Charlestown, Nevis. However, I wanted to stop at the island of Redonda on the way.

Redonda is a wee abandoned rock in the middle of Montserrat, Antigua and Nevis. It's not so wee up close. I'd interviewed Mr. Bob Williamson (aka 'King Bob the Bald') some days previously for a programme I'm making on the kings of Redonda, and his advice for landing on Montserrat was: 'Don't do it' (more on this programme later, once I finally finish it), but not to be put off, I managed to trap the anchor under a rock whilst I scrambled to the top and back.

Stitching my second large rip in the mainsail in two days was the next task, and, completed, We made landfall in Nevis just after dark.

All in all an exciting day to shake off the humph of being sat too long in a stinky lagoon with lots of dull, shiny superyacht people..
