Hi Everybody

Well, we are basically there. In 24 hours we will hopefully have cleared Gran Canaria and be sailing in a lovely force 4/5. No time to type as am tired beyond belief and need beauty sleep (although this is slightly unecessary given my rather swish new haircut) to reduce the possible effects of the sea on my body. Please keep reading the blog as we will endeavour to make posts more regular (and I will endeavour to make the skipper more interesting - I am nothing if not ambitious) during the course of the crossing.
