After a night in Kangatsiak we have come down the coast and are anchored in a bay at the entrance to Hamborgasund. We have been here for two days as the scenery and walking are wonderful. Trish and I have been up various hills to get views down onto the fjord and seen an arctic hare in addition to some magnificent glaciers. We even got to walk on snow. This may seem an odd thing to comment on but actually in the summer unless you get high on the coastal hills there isn’t that much around. Though of course lots of bergs and glaciers. Tom has also been sorting his photographs and Nancy has been painting her bergs. You will notice we are now south of the arctic circle again (it’s at 66 33) so another circle crossing cake was baked…I was for turning north again to get two more out of the tradition but was out voted by the cooks!
