52 00.68 N 55 53.4 W . Another great day. We got up early at 3 am as the days journey was over 80 miles. The sunrise is at 3 30 am so no hardship ( it doesn't get dark until after 10 pm either and as we head further north we will be into 24 hour hour daylight hopefully; if we cross the Arctic circle.)
A good fast downwind sail with current with us so we reached Chateau Bay at about 3 pm well ahead of schedule. Lots of Icebergs en route, but a clear blue sky so they were easy to spot. Plenty of seabirds. All very beautiful. We anchored about 3 hundred yards from the shore and within 15 minutes Trish had spotted a black bear and two cubs who wandered along the shore line and provided a fabulous welcome to Labrador.
