The weather yesterday was cold and wet so we stayed at anchor and read and relaxed. The area we were anchored in is near to the oldest known rocks in the world. They are estimated at 3.7 billion years old (that's older than even Trish is!). The weather today is sunny and clear again so we have headed up the coast. We aren't going to stop in Nuuk ( the capital) as the remnants of hurricane Arthur are due to fizzle out in that neck of the woods in a few days so we are going to get to the north while the winds are fair (I didn't think we'd have to worry about hurricanes this year but they do come this way occasionally ( though only as gales not storms by the time they get here.....wish they would bring a bit of warmth its 7 C/44 F in the sun , not what Trish and I are used to!) Tom and Nancy are tougher though, they think its warm.
