Well the Gulf of Carpenterier lived up to its grotty reputation. We had 20-2kts all the way with a short, sharp beam sea that became ugly with wind against tide. I am relieved to be sitting flat and still at anchor off Gove Yacht club. It was a fast crossing but not pleasant.
We shall go shopping tomorrow then we only need to get some washing done, top up with water and we're off to Darwin. we are seeing lots more boats all heading to Darwin.
