A week has almost passed since our first independent voyage. We circumnavigated the Isle of Sark; doesn’t sound much but it has world class rocks and tides. Scuttled back into St Peter Port to avoid the next gale.  Finally sailed away from ST P P early on Friday 27th destination Falmouth to hide from another Low that was scheduled to run through our chosen course to West Scotland. Arrived in dear old Falmouth in the early hours of Saturday morning; made our number with the Harbour Master and paid our respects to the Old Town and its hostelries. Sunday spent with head in engine room for first oil and filter change – wow such fun. Now it’s Monday and we are waiting for the latest gale to blow through but busy with our heads in electronics manuals and the like.
