After two good weeks in yet another place described as dangerous, where the hairdos and headgear are exotic to say the least, it time for us to move on...

But before going we visited the famous Reach Falls, in spite of being closed that day. The ingenuity and eagerness of our young taxi driver to make a few bucks saved the day. He turned guide and we precariously climbed up the valley to an amazing sight.

Could not resist...... The water was so tempting.

We have been waiting for the cold front to blow over before moving on.

The deluge lasted 6 hours.  Can’t tell you how many inches fell.

The weather did not deter the nightly Frigate bird conference. Some got so heated up they puffed up their red throats, but the ladies in the back row took no notice.

The market was fun and colourful although the choice of fruits and vegetables was limited

We spent our last Jamaican $ stocking up with fresh food.

We are leaving this morning bound for the ABC hoping to call on Los Aves, Barlenvento,  on the way.
