I don’t think we can face any more food today.  The Fayre has been in full flow for the past 4 days. The whole of Lima must have decided not to miss out and turned up on the last day. The queue must have been 1 km long, whilst debating whether to go in or not we noticed a very small queue. A nice man explained to us in English that it was for the over 60’s. Well we were in business and for his reward he asked us if we could save him the wait and purchase a ticket for him. A fair bargain we decided.

The wonderful smells (and colours) coming from every corner were tantalizing.

Peru boasts of 135 different types of potatoes. They claim to have invented the potato

The bread was delicious and so much variety

Not for the thin or faint hearted!…………

Happy Stall Holders?

The Pisco Sour drink is made from grape brandy.  Good for the digestion.

After 4 hrs of sampling we returned to base for a well deserved siesta -   Skipper snoring well……………
