Well am I stuffed! I am full to the gunwhales with carrots, onions, pineapples, oranges and goodness knows what else. Every conceivable little space on me is crammed with food, water or crew. But I have to say they are all seeming quite relaxed, must be that bottle of gin they had to finish to make way for courgettes.
All the socials have finished and I hope they are going to have an early night tonight cos I could do with a rest before I start the marathon crossing tomorrow. All of us cruisers start at 1pm but we are going to take it easy somewhere near the back, the thought of 250 boats all vying for the start line puts Wednesday night racing at Castle Cove into kindergarten status. The funny thing is that my handicap is about as bad (or good!) as my predecessor  ‘Madrigal’s’ was. I have been classified as 4th from the bottom of the fleet, so there’s not far to fall but a lot of potential to improve.
Many thanks to those who have sent in estimates of how long it will take me to get there, we are still receiving your guesses so keep them coming.
