Los Palmas start for ARC

It has not been that sunny so far, although today (18th November 2005) looks
like a perfect day.
It has been hectic preparing for the ARC,still a few more things to do, then
we hope to have a chill out day tomorrow before the start.
We have found some fantastic restaurants here in Los Palmas.
Birgitte has not been well for the last 2 days however she seems a lot better today.I had wondered if we would have to delay our start.

Our full crew are on board we took her out for a trial sail with cruising
shoot and tested the water maker all is working.
The weather forecast for the start is not looking good South westerly which
will mean an uncomfortable start,lets hope they got it wrong.Now that we are
getting nearer to the start a few butterflies are fluttering,more news
later,keep in touch with any messages however short.
