I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been involved in our
adventure, to our employers, sponsors and friends. Particularly to our
families, we have no idea what you have been through, I know its been as
tough for you as it has for us. My sisters are revelling in their new
found fame, after we lost comms they attended numerous interviews on our
behalf, my parents are back to work finally after a month off. I am so
grateful to them, I can't begin to imagine how much it must have cost to
wait for me in Antigua but I am so glad they did, it was amazing to see
them at the finish.
Thanks from my side in particular to Jess, it must have been so hard for
her, we have never been apart for more than a couple of weeks and she had
so much to deal with while I was away. You've done amazingly well Jess,
I'm so proud of you, you're a very special person and I'm lucky to have
you.
And to everyone who took the time to email us whilst we were at sea, it
was such a welccome distraction and it was awesome to know that people we
had not met were following our progress, hi to Paul in the US and Nicky in
SA. Plus of course everyone else, I hope that you all got at least 1
reply.
Thanks again, unfortunately there are to many people to mention
individually but you are all very much appreciated.
