Hello

It has been an adventurous last two days with fairly high waves coming from all direction making the inside of the boat a carrousel. But smiles has been on our faces none the less.
The first couple of days has been knowledgeable for us all, specially for Emil and Coral as long passages needs a different mentality and sailing philosophy, something that both of us haven’t experienced in this degree. Where as Ritchie, Mat and Orshi has had vast experiences of long passages.

We are starting to work as a team and are slowly setting into routine. Sleeping has been an issue the couple of days as the waves has been all over the place.

Nothing helps a sailors moral more than a good dish, which Orshi did her chicken curry! Very yummy!

Facts:
Hoping to achieve 2700 Nm. The ARC has been divided from day one, where two thirds of the boats have gone West where they experienced rougher weather. We decided to take the more comfortable route and took our heading South. Of all the boats heading south we are in the 4th position which isn’t that strange as we broke speed records on the third night with Emil at the helm, looking like a Ferrari driver.
We are now about 200 Nm away from our waypoint where we then turn West. Hopefully finding the trade winds and smooth, sunny and comfortable conditions.
