With a little under 550 miles until Cape Town, we have spent the preceding 24 hours with a rather brisk 30 to 40 kts, which has now established a significant swell height of between 4 and 6 m.
Things are still comfortable on board, although maintaining personal safety is paramount when moving about, due to the surprising lack of hand holds on board, particularly in the wheel house. There have been a number of flying Russian incidents, as they carelessly make their way around the boat, without having a proper hand hold.
Our projected time of arrival is likely to be on the morning of 20th June, with decreasing weather between here and then, so i will keep you informed,
