Yesterday was a much better day, with glorious sunshine for most of the day. As dusk fell the stars began to emerge, and with the absence of the moon early on the sky was pitch black. This resulted in one of the most amazing skies that i have ever seen. The sky was littered with stars, and you could see constellations and the magellan clouds (which are actually galaxies far far away). It was truly amazing. We are now about 1200 from Tristan Da Cunha and over a quarter of the way to Cape Town.
