Well, the final preparations are underway before my departure to Punta Arenas tomorrow.  My journey will begin with an excursion to a number of airports, starting with Gatwick, then Madrid, then Santiago and finally Punta Arenas in Chile – great fun!

There have been a number of spare parts to take, and also all of my teaching stuff, so hopefully there will be some room for warm clothes.

Anyway, hopefully this will all work, and the trip will be a great success,
