We left the Canary Islands on Wednesday about noon,
it is now Saturday afternoon and we have sailed over 300 miles, the weather has
been nice but chilly, especially at night! We're now getting back into the
rythym of being at sea, as it always takes a few days to get used to the awkward
motion and lack of continuous sleep. Murphy has no problem because she
could happily sleep 24/7.
Our second night out we saw six ships during the
night! We must have been in a shipping lane, last night we saw none,
phew! However a sailboat that was near us in the marina just passed us
close by, they left a day later but are faster - it is amazing with all this
ocean to meet somebody you know:)
