Eventually, we are around Cape St Vincent, which is
apparently the furthest most western part of Europe. I knew that the winds
were going to accelerate around this headland, but had not expected it to get to
30+ knots with the accompanying swell. Was a little exciting!
Well, now have the wind on the Port Beam and we
head east along the Algarve. Our destination port for this leg is Gibraltar and
I guesstimate we should be there by sometime mid afternoon tomorrow - just in
time to spend a well deserved evening in the pub!!
