Its Midtsummernight.I guess all our friends and
family in Scandinavia is getting ready with the bone fires and the appropriate
additions. We all hope you have good weather and especially that the kids will
enjoy the evening. Here the swell has changed to a heavy NE long wawes with
60-100 meters from crest to crest. The wind however is very light so for the last
18 hrs the "iron genoa" has been working on what we have calculated as the most
economical speed. We do have enaugh diesel to reach Horta under power alone. If we
do not get a Marina space in Horta we will have to slug on to Ponta Delgada
which will take us another 26-28 hrs.Weather for onboard comfort is great and
the boat is hardly moving at all.Yesterday we had our food fiest day as I
allredy mentioned with Rommegrot for breakfast.continiued to Pancakes with bacon
and swedish pea soup for lunch. The latter made by Magnar. Then Rune decided on an
Italian evening serving up an exelent pasta. So we better get of this boat before
we get stuck in the entrance hatch. We all by now look forward to sight land and
the landfall Champagne is in the cooler so the first to sight the top of Pico
will get the honur of the first glass
For now Cheers from the Song
