Chenge of crew

So...
I'm sitting outside our favorite restaurant here in Bermuda, the Polaris. Here
we've made new friends, had nice drinks, made our laundry, showered even been
interweaved by the local TV!!! It's with sadness in my heart that I have to say
my goodbyes to this place and FLY back home tonight. As you all know we have
been delayed because of the engine trouble. Delayed to a point that I (Miia)
have to leave the beautiful Morning Song and Maceo will take my place. (You
all will see him on the photo attached to this update.) He’s a very nice guy who
we got to know as the bartender at the Polaris. He will now shake the
drinks onboard. He and Johan will set sail tomorrow morning at aprox. 9.00 am.
The weather forecast tells that it will be perfect weather, meaning southern
winds up to 15 kt. Couldn’t be better… The
last couple of days we’ve been fixing the last things that had to be fixed
before leaving, buying groceries, filling fresh water, cleaning the bilge to
shininess and last but not the least enjoying this beautiful island. Fore shore
I will come back here soon! Now I have to go back to packing my
stuff… Over
and out from the former cook to upgraded chef, inventory manager, entertainer,
cabin attendant and last but not the least “kuttersmycke”, |
