Dear friends
Another good 24 hrs with steady SSW wind up to
22-25 knots.At times some big breakers that makes for some fun 10 knots surfs.We
are getting used to the old ladys amazing variety of sounds when working in a
seaway she moans groans gargles braths heavy and occasionaly the happy surfing
sound.This means that by now we all sleep like babies on our of
watches.Polarkokken Rune otdid himself last night with a terrific stew served
with rice and salad followed by assorted chocolades and portwine for dessert.The
highlight of the morning watch was an encounter with a bulk carrier.I kindly
asked for a weather forecast and in a very broken english I was told that we
could expect heavy fog.He had clearly had more portwine that us.The comfort
speed for the Song in this conditions seems to be around 5.5-6 knots again the
last 24 hrs was 135 nm.And then a bit in Norwegian.Vi har det fint ombord
og trives dagene gaar fort og vi har relativt god fart.Maten er upaklagelig og
Morning Song er en fantastisk sjobaat.Vi har ikke hatt en draape vann paa dekk
paa tross av skavler paa opp i 5 meter.
