Ahoy sailors! This time it’s the cook or whatever I was called on the last update.  The thing is that I have more titles here on board MS then the king has golden coins in his treasure chest.  Cook, inventory manager, cabin attendant, handy woman, Jack-tar, Kuttersmycke (the last was in Swedish because we could not find the English word in our mental dictionary… but it’s the lady in front of a big royal ship in the olden days). I really enjoy every minute! As we wrote to our parents, we (meaning I) learn things every day and that’s the thrill of this adventure. This morning at 02.00 Am we unfortunately had to turn on the engine. The wind fell to 5 kt. and was only giving us a speed of 3-4 kt. As you all know, not nearly as fast as we hoped for the night. I had the 03.00 to 0630 watch which gave me the pleasure to have moment alone with the sunrise and on top of that a rainbow! Unspeakably beautiful! Today we took out the reef in the main since we are experiencing lighter winds. We are now doing 6kn. with a little help of the engine down below. Johan found the fishing gear well stored away in the forward wardrobe (Sorry Stig for blaming you) and has now rigged the equipment. We are hoping for a big catch since the fishing line holds 36kg if needed! And if so I guess I will be busy rinsing fish like never before.  The clouds are building up in the horizon which hopefully means wind but unfortunately no sunshine.

Until next time… keep the faith!
