Position is N 36:50:51, W 076:17:96 Have arrived at the bottom of the bay in
Portsmouth, Virginia, where it's much warmer - they have water on the dock 24/7
and no de-icers ! Bubblers, the dock master called them...,
Had only a half hour sail with the genoa up one
lunch time, then the wind died down again, as it was behind us. Have
now done 155 NM on Kachina, and she's doing very well.
Anchored up in Fishing Bay last night, for the
first time, and we both slept like logs !
Looks like we'll be here until Saturday, when the
weather will then improve, maybe even to head out...Will keep you posted.. |
