Around 0100 the wind died complertely so put the
engine on and motored for 9 hours and got to Mindelo about 1100 local time.Were
pleased to see Magtelot with Pippy Richard and Amanda on boardf. They had
arrived the previous evening.
Went ashore and was surprised to see how African
Mindelo was. The streets were busy and the shops crowded.WE did some brief
sahopping and planned to have drinks with the matelot crew. Were told we could
check in with imigration at 1430 so duely turned up at trhe ofie to be told they
closed at 1400 for christmas. Come nack on friday! In the end I was too tires to
go for drinks and we postponed it.
