Up with the lark and off to pastures new. Motoring into a F3 easterly. During the day the wind got stronger and we raised some sail and motor-sailed the beat. The swell was a pain, short and sharp, we never managed more than 5.5 knots! The night was warm but wild, up to F6, we pressed on...

Giving up the opportunity to quit, we pressed on around Capo Gato, to San Jose (36:45.739N, 002:06.160W) which was full. Panic etc, we had given our all! They let us stay on the fuel berth for the night, lovely people!
