Yesterday 28.Oct at 1500UTC, ESCAPADA completed the first leg (650nm) of
her Atlantic voyage towards the Caribbean! After 6 days at sea, a tired
but happy Crew arrived at Port of Caleta del Sebo on Isla Graciosa
A very remote and relaxed place - see pictures attached!

Everything went fine on our first ocean passage, no problems at all.
Lot's of Parasail hoisting, down-wind sailing with boomed-out genoa,
sail-trim and alot of lessons learned for the ARC. We were were
especially impressed with that typical Atlantic swell (huge!), something
none of us has ever encountered in the Med!

Obviously, the landfall was duly celebrated by Captain & Crew with a
well-deserved dinner of fresh fish, followed by a few drinks on shore
and later aboard...! Accordingly, today's morning was somewhat slow...
