After a short trial sail down the coast yesterday, testing the new mainsail and storm jib in a F7-8 gale, we spent the night in the port of Estepona. From there, we departed today 23.OCT at 09.00UTC heading towards the 'Rock'. Weather forecast is good, no gale predicted. Expect to pass Gibraltar Straits today early evening and then head down SSW for the 700nm passage to Lanzarote, ETA 27.OCT 17.00UTC.
