We left Iles de Porquerolles Saturday mid-morning and motor-sailed in direction of Cassis.  Not sufficient wind to sail.  Cassis advised us that they were ‘complet’ so we decide to try the nearby calanque which, the almanac advised, had over 400 spaces on pontoons and buoys.  Having explored the wrong calanques (which had only ‘no anchoring’ buoys), and getting rather worried,  we found the correct one and were allocated a space in the very busy little mooring.

Since the meteo forecast for Sunday included the likelihood of storms in the afternoon, we decided to defer the last step until Monday and decided to explore Cassis during the day and spend a second night here.
