We've had our last sail before the Mediterranean! Next it's motoring up
the River Seine.

We left Fecamp late: we intended to leave in time to get crew Peter to Le
Havre for the ferry back to Portsmouth. When we looked at the breakers on
the bar at the harbour entrance we turned back. We left several hours
later, nearer high tide, having put Peter on the bus. The first part of
the passage to Le Havre was bumpy with wind on the nose, then we had a
lovely gentle sail for an hour before Le Havre.

Now we are in the Port de Plaisance, and it's May Day general holiday, so
no action in the workshops (to take the mast off Eliza B) til Monday.
We'll have to indulge in some French cooking.
