When we left San Lorenzo, the entrance and sea outside were calm and welcoming – unlike the previous afternoon.  We followed the coast northwards and motor-sailed into a gentle wind from the north.  There was still a slight swell rolling in from the west but we knew that the entrance to Cala de Medici has plenty of room and would be unaffected by the sea.  We arrived safely after our 20 mile trip and were pleased to be back in the friendly little marina, which we had left exactly two weeks earlier, and sample their splendid Italian ice-creams.
