We on Desiderata can never be accused of not being
inventive, today for dinner we created a masterpiece of pizza perfection from
the paltry ingredients of bread mix, canned tomatoes and tuna fish. Now that may
not sound like a culinary delight to those of you feasting on better fare but to
three chaps whose staple diet has consisted of freeze dried stuff with rice for
the past three weeks it represented a veritable syphony to the taste buds. Other
than that we have spent the past three days in hot calm conditions but
unfortunately no wind, we have kept busy with boat maintenance of which there
has been a considerable ammount and decided today to motor west to maintain
station with the guys out here rowing their way to palateable food and clean
underwear.

Whose intention it was, was to float
Three thousand miles west
As jolly good test
Of their capacity to have a dry throat
Get the beers in!
