Spirits on board are high despite the weather doing its best to quosh them. We have had another day of 25-30 knts with gusts to 38 which is great sailing weather but not good if you are trying to go at 3 knots to stay with a rowing fleet. The big swells seem to have got the better of our new generator which is refusing to run at the moment so will keep you posted on that one.

Caught up with 2 boats today which is about the highlight of our day. We have spent alot of time thinking about a worse place to be than the back cabin of an ocean rowing boat with your rowing partner getting smashed about whilst sitting on a sea anchor watching yourself get swept in the wrong direction, and do you know what, none of us could think of one.

Last night was sleepless for all onboard as our proximity to several row boats demanded vigilance and a constant lookout which paid off as we passed within several hundred yards of Doing Time in poor visibility due to the high winds and rough seas, we also had a couple of overnight visits from flying fish who managed to find their way on to our deck but not out of the scuppers, unfortunately neither were big enough to make a breakfast from.
