We’re still
in Lagos but just about ready to
go! Boat provisioned for trip to Madeira and then some, battery storage sorted,
clothes lines hung and boat re-stowed (all the kids gear now well out of the
way), engine, generator, water-maker all tested. We put the genoa back on but
had problems with the furling as the halyard was wrapping round the forestay –
rain started and it began to get dark so we took it down to deal with early in
the morning, probably with a volunteer for up the mast. Navigation has been done
so hopefully we’ll be off around 9 am tomorrow – and tomorrow’s blog will be
from the Atlantic... |
