Current position "28:07.68N 15:25.62W". As we’re essentially ready, we went off exploring the island yesterday – see pics attached. Once back we set up for the pontoon party we’d invited everyone on our pontoon to – we bought a load of food to be laid on by the restaurant at the end of the pontoon, and a few cases of beer. It was relatively quiet – we were obviously competing with a number of other organised parties, but several crews dropped by on their way to or from their evening events and we all had chats about routes to be taken and so on.

 

In the evening Maggie and the kids arrived from the UK – they’re here to see the boat off. It’s supposed to be a fantastic sight, seeing 270 boats all starting on their grand adventure!
