Today we got set up for Christmas - taking down Graham's birthday banners and balloons and in return hanging up our cards, the ornaments Grandma gave us for Christmas and a few other decos. All set up, we had a lovely day on Sandy Island to start. The kids went snorkelling with dad while Maggie and Benjamin explored the island. We found a lovely pond that was protected from the surf and had its own coralr reef. Very exciting for Benjamin who could swim as if in a pool and the kids as they saw coral reef (not unlike what they saw on the outside reef) and also collected some nice coral clam shells for souvenirs.

We motored over to Watering Bay Carriacou in the afternoon and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon behind a rather shallow coral reef. Tucked safely behind, we're enjoying Christmas eve with very little rocking. Kids are getting very excited about Father Christmas arrival and sure that he will be able to clear the mast safely - we've got apples for the reindeer on the ready (no fresh carrots available)!
