In Santa Cruz, Galapagos after 60% motor 40% sail from Las Perlas with a few days at San Cristobal also in the Galapagos. Not much changed. Hot and sticky with torrential rain showers. Walked up to the crater on Cristobal in a rainshower where the rain was coming down in chunks. Compensated by very nice lunch in small camping site with best bananas ever. Had overloaded boat trip to offshore rocks and swam with sea lions and sharks. Had a memorably awful meal in Italian - yes - Italian - restaurant but made up for it the next night with the best yellowfin ever.

Hanging around here til 4/3 when depart for Marquesas with no wind forecast. Not sure we can motor 3000 miles................................

Never mind, Thor Heyardahl did it 60 years ago on a bunch of logs.
