Tks ur exhortations, put up all white sails last nite. Finished 0327 13 /12 12. and anchored in the bay and had a celebratory glass and motored into the marina this am.

Last nite was what it should have been. Force 4-5 long seas, clear, warm, sliding down long and silky seas with the firmament clear and slowly whirling above - a magic night and fittingly, the last.

A fast passage with a lot of very grumpy weather. The sea state really did make for an uncomfortable trip. Seen two broken booms coming in this morning alone. Our damage quite minimal, the batten plate, horseshoe buoys bashed to bits, chafe and whatever we havent/wont find. -yet. Our worst squall was up to 40 k but some seem to have had similar on a sustained basis !!

Cant plug in to shore power and local experts working on it. Crew disappeared for 'breakfast'.

Crew were great in every particular and the rabbiting - apologies to Devon readers -never stopped.

Thanks for all your support.
