Back on Carrick in Lanzarote after 5 days of ghastly weather in London alleviated by the hospitality of Tony and meeting up with my old Principal, Paul, from my days as an Articled Clerk in Stone Buildings many moons ago.
 
Another new problem, namely the discovery of a manufacturing defect in the steering system means that a whole new pedestal is needed. Lewmar are sending one out with an engineer. Anderson have, out of the blue, said they will now replace the winch motor and a new one is on its way.
 
Still planning to get to the Med for summer when I can impress a crew.
