We have wind! At last the motoring is over for
now. We are doing about 5 knots in 6-7 knot true wind. Jessa is down again as it
is rolling a bit.
Next port of call will be Galle,Sri Lanka.
Fuel for the bob and seasick tablets for Jess.
We had a rain storm passing over us. It made for
great sailing! The wind was up at 17knots and we had a reef in the main with a
full genoa. We were cruising at a cool 8 knots! It only lasted for about an
hour but it was great!
At last I caught a small yellow fin tuna
only to be eaten by some thing bigger. So, I have caught a head only as the
rest was gone. There was a big pool of blood in the water just after the
fish was hooked. Keep on trying!
The watermaker stopped working yesterday and I am
taking it apart to see what the problem is. We are on water saving mode at the
moment. Can only shower every second day till the problem is solved. There is
always something that needs fixing onboard. Makes life interesting.
Scrabble.....I don't want to talk about it! No,
really I don't!Lost three games in a row last night! I will rather stick to the
French language course from now on.
