Where is the wind? We have been motoring for two
days now and the going is slow. Really slow.
On the scrabble front I have done not too
bad. The score is 11-8......okay 11-6! There are only so many four letter
words you can make with "Q".
We had a visitor since two days ago. A small
falcon. Looked really in bad shape but he caught a small bird and ate it on
the stack-pack. Nice Pictures. We now have some blood stains on the
main sail. He was blown away during a rain storm. Hope he makes it. Yes, we had
some rain. More like dripping if you ask me. Nothing to get excited about! Nice
lightning storms at night all around us. I may start chasing them to get some
wind! And end in Somalia.
I now firmly believe that all the fish has
disappeared. Not even a bite on the line. With all the fishing boat that we
have passed it makes sense. I have tried different lures, different colours,
long lines, short lines, deep diving, surface towed, fish, squid, feathers,
single hook, double hook and still nothing! Maybe I will try Jess
tomorrow?
At least we had some dolphins around the boat
last night. Still amazed by the illuminescence! Really looks like
angels!
We also passed by a dead dolphin. Lovely
smell!
Any way life goes on here on the bobbejaan, and
still loving it!
