We had the best sailling last night and today during the trip so far! We have done 140nm for the last 24 hours. Jess was really scared last night but I can only admire the courage she has to push through the night! Awesome! Our first way point is in sight and we are really pushing the bobbejaan to the limit to make up for the lost time.

I hooked a Marlin this morning and it jumped a few times before it snapped the line like a twig! It was over before it even started. I am licking my wounds but will fight back someday soon!

We are experiencing the strongest weather we have had so far after leaving the gulf. At least we are going in the right direction. If this was a monohull the ride would have been a lot worse than it is now. This is a great boat!

We have seen a lot of garbage out here especially styro-foam pieces, plastic bottles and a lot of planks. It is really shocking to see how we are destroying our oceans which is the life of this planet.

Jessa is doing much better. She is finding her sea legs (at Last!) She also keeps kicking my ass in scrabble. The score is 10-2! That damn "Q"!
