Good morning

Wind has thankfully returned after weakening most of the night so I don't think we will be on for another 200+ miles in the 24 hours ending at midday (we are now 2 hours behind UK). Well chuffed yesterday though to read we were fastest in our Division, not that we are racing merely comparing performance!

This is a picture of the sails set up we have for most of the passage, "Goosewinged" for when the wind is coming from behind, it is more susceptible to being disturbed by swells and so makes for a fairly tense night watch as you endeavour to compensate for this and wind direction shifts and stopping particularly the front sail (Genoa in nautical speak) flogging and slapping.
