All well on board, storming along still with consistent days (24 hrs) of 200 miles plus, which for a sailing yacht is very good progress and the weather looks to be pretty stable all the way now, we are currently 931 miles from St Lucia! Nigel holds the record for surfing speed seen on 14.5 knots!! I shall break into the secret stash of mini Hagan Daz ice cream tubs to treat the crew and celebrate going under 1000 miles!
This is a photo of how our double bed has to be set up for the passage so we can endeavour to jam ourselves in some how.
Just set the guys a new target for arrival, the St Lucia tourism authority are throwing a party on the 11th and as it is the 30th anniversary of the ARC going to St Lucia it promises to be something special.
