And from Sea World Centre to Harry Ramsden’s!
After a couple of days trolling lures off a hand line we finally caught our first fish 🙂
I was Harvey’s Grandad’s lucky lure the did the trick, a beautiful 10-12lb Dorade (not sure of spelling or 100% of identity but Kenny assures us). So it was fresh fish for dinner and hopefully a tasty fish curry this evening.
It was dead calm with little wind yesterday so we ran the engine for most of the afternoon and evening. During the night the winds picked up and we had squall which helped to push us along - we are still making slow progress with the waves in an unhelpful direction. Pina Colda time looking very short.
