Arrived in Mindelo Marina very early this morning (Monday) which was a little stressful in the dark with only a couple of security guards and no marinaros to help.
All had a good sleep and despite the best efforts of the toilet/shower block door (it really didn’t want to let five smelly blokes in) we are now clean too!
Now for a busy day of prep unfortunately hampered yet again by another public holiday - this time it’s Democracy Day with some guy shouting rallying cries through a megaphone, no doubt Swampy’s Cape Verdi cousin.
Hope to leave tomorrow or Wednesday morning at worst depending on how fast the chandlers work today.
Gotta clean the boat now, Captain’s orders, no holiday this ;)
Ps. Haydn off to find a doctor too.
