ALBA is sitting in Valencia, Espania recovering from one of the biggest storms in the last fifty years. 55 knot southerly winds wiped into the harbour causing a weird sensation. It was like being on a trampoline. The boat was going in all directions held by four lines. Thirty six hours of terror. The carbon fibre racing yacht on the starboard side decided to shed its mooring lines and play a sort of kissing game with ALBA. Needless to say some of ALBA has been slightly damaged.
