Marina Menorca in Mahon Harbour

We decided to stay another night in Mahon. Motoring up the long harbour was delightful. There is so much beauty and history here. In the high season, one cannot find a berth in Mahon, and if you are lucky enough to do so, it is very expensive. Because things are quiet this time of the year, we went into the marina for the wifi and easy access to the town. I took the kids with me to search for a Spanish SIM card for telephone and internet access. Got a Vodophone chip, but the amount of data you can get is somewhat limited, and I'll have to go to Vodophone shops to buy more access when my 1.6 GB runs out. Or find more wifi:) That was one of the great things about Croatia. You could get unlimited internet data up to 4G speed for about 16 Canadian dollars a week. It was great. Italy wasn't too bad either if you looked for the best deals.

We walked a ways, and got the kids a few more toys, a Lego Bionicle figure and a Lego Chima kit for Pavel, and a Monster High doll for Catherine. For a girl who didn't really play with dolls at home, she is developing more of an imagination, thanks to Pavel. Pavel could make up stories about his toys all day every day. When we listen to their play conversations, I sometimes hear myself speaking in their words. Turns out I've been too tired at times. The kids have adjusted well to life on board and are doing their "homework" regularly. The workbooks that I brought with me from Canada, have been a big success.

Got back to the boat to pick up Vlad, and wandered through the town to find a place to eat. It was stunning waling up the steps to the village. I will post some photos as soon as I can. We loved Mahon, it was lower season so we could get in, and we would return to fully explore the archeological sites.
